STORY: The Hummingbird Bakery launches first nationwide DIY kit
The Hummingbird Bakery has released its first nationwide offering in the form of Cupcake Decorating Kits.
Fans of the brand are invited to hone the craft of 'The Hummingbird Bakery Swirl' at home with one of two exclusive cupcake decorating boxes available for purchase online now.
Each box contains everything consumers need to frost six cupcakes, plus sprinkles to decorate, and the How To Guide coaches shoppers in the art of frosting.
All cupcakes are baked to order using quality ingredients and zero preservatives.
Cupcake decorating kits available to order online:
- Mixed Decorating Kit - includes three vanilla and three chocolate cupcakes, two pots of vanilla frosting in varying colours, one pot of chocolate frosting, one bag of sprinkles and one How To Guide. Priced at £27.50 with a frosting palette knife or £23.00 without a frosting palette knife.
- Chocolate Decorating Kit - includes six chocolate cupcakes, two pots of chocolate frosting, one pot of vanilla frosting, one bag of sprinkles, and one How To Guide. Priced at £27.50 with a frosting palette knife or £23.00 without a frosting palette knife.
The new cupcake decorating kits are set to be the first of many DIY kits to come from the American bakery brand.
New openings
The brand's flagship South Kensington bakery was fully restored earlier this year, and Hummingbird has promised new openings in the pipeline, one of which will be announced in autumn.
