BIRDS BAKERY REVEALS REVAMPED CENTRAL AVENUE STORE

East Midlands favourite, Birds Bakery, is welcoming customers back to its West Bridgford store on Central Avenue following an exciting refurbishment. Reopening on Friday 11 July, the store has been transformed with Birds’ updated branding, featuring a fresh new interior colour scheme of spring green, warm grey, and doughnut pink.

The revamp also includes indoor and outdoor seating, giving customers a welcoming space to relax and enjoy their favourite bakes – whether that’s at the bespoke concrete table outside in Birds’ signature spring green terrazzo style, or inside on one of the 28 seats available, which include a cosy mix of snug sofas, stools, and high chairs.

Inside, beautiful daisy-shaped lights add a playful finishing touch, a testament to Birds’ ‘fresh as a daisy’ promise.

The refurbishment forms part of Birds’ ongoing investment in its stores across the East Midlands, ensuring its much-loved heritage is matched by a modern and comfortable experience for customers old and new.

As well as the classic flaky pastries, warm breads, and sweet treats Birds is known for – all made with care using locally sourced ingredients – the updated store will serve new lunch options, including the Chicken Mayo and Bacon Sandwich on Chia Bread and All Day Breakfast Filled Roll. 

Iced coffee is also now available, offering the perfect refreshing treat to enjoy alongside your lunch or sweet snack.

Birds Bakery’s West Bridgford store is located at 101 Melton Road, NG2 6ET, and is open from 7:30am–5pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am–3pm on Sundays.

The store is also available on Uber Eats and Just Eat, offering convenient access to Birds’ handmade bakes, savouries, and lunches delivered to your door.
