Compleat Foodservice invests £600k in new cookie production line

Compleat Foodservice has strengthened its sweet bakery manufacturing capabilities with a £600,000 investment in a new cookie production line at its Crewe facility.

The latest investment is designed to expand production capacity by more than 30%, enabling the business to respond to growing demand for premium cookies across both the retail and foodservice sectors.

The new line has been developed to manufacture a wider variety of products, including larger-format cookies, filled recipes and indulgent varieties packed with chocolate chunks, confectionery pieces and other premium inclusions. It also provides greater flexibility to produce softer-baked cookies and supports the development of new recipes tailored to customer requirements.

The enhanced production capabilities will allow Compleat Foodservice to accelerate product innovation while offering a broader choice of formats, flavours and textures. The investment also improves manufacturing efficiency, helping the company meet increasing customer demand while maintaining consistent product quality.

Compleat Foodservice expects continued growth within the premium cookie category as consumers increasingly seek indulgent sweet treats that deliver both quality and visual appeal. The business believes the additional capacity will support its ambitions to expand further within this market over the coming years.
