STORY: New launches for St Pierre Groupe

St Pierre Groupe has announced its latest round of launches: Sponge Flan Cases and three Sponge Cake Layers. The company says the range extends its reach into a new category – namely, home baking for the international branded bakery business.

The Sponge Flan Cases are aimed at both retail and foodservice sectors “and make it easy for people of all abilities to unleash their inner Mary Berry and create quick, delicious and praise-worthy desserts”.

Available in medium (100g) and large (200g) varieties, the flan cases are ready-baked and just need filling and decorating. With a minimum guaranteed life of 60 days, the sponge flan cases and cake layers are an efficient and versatile solution for both retailers and food service.

The Sponge Layer Cakes (400g), available in Classic (plain) and Chocolate, again just need filling and decorating. St Pierre Groupe says these launches “answer the demand for products that offer convenience and ease of use for time-poor consumers”.
