STORY: Biscuiteers is on point with new collaboration

Royal Opera House has teamed up with Biscuiteers to create a new and exclusive ballet-inspired biscuit box, which is almost too pretty to eat.

The collection is designed to capture the essence of dance and artistry at the Royal Opera House.

Individually decorated, the Ballet Biscuit Box is inspired by the delicate work of the Royal Opera House’s Costume Department and includes four luxurious biscuits: male and female ballet dancers wearing soft, peachy pink and white polka dot costumes, a traditional tutu with intricate trimming and a pair of classic ballet slippers.

Francesca Gazet, head of vorporate at Biscuiteers said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with the Royal Opera House on this beautiful biscuit box. We’ve worked closely with the team to create the perfect designs to be hand-iced by our team. We love that the Royal Opera House share our passion and love in every aspect of attention to detail and creating only the best gift for visitors.”

Royal Opera House merchandising consultant, Emma Matthews, added: “Biscuiteers presents such fabulous ranges of delicious and bespoke, hand-iced biscuits that we couldn’t resist creating our first range with them. Inspired by the talent and heritage of the Royal Ballet, these unique biscuits bring such a playful, fun and utterly charming approach that you just can’t resist.”

Presented in the famous hand-illustrated Biscuiteers gift boxes, the Royal Opera House and Biscuiteers boxes are available to buy exclusively at the Royal Opera House shop and online at shop.roh.org.uk

Also pirouetting into the Royal Opera House shop is the Ballerina Biscuit, a single hand-decorated biscuit wearing an exquisitely-iced duck-egg and baby blue costume.
