STORY: Burton's is on the hunt for a Master Biscuiteer

Fancy yourself as the next big thing in baking? Well, the job of your dreams has just gone live.

Border Biscuits, home to the UK’s No.1 chocolate-coated ginger biscuit, is on the hunt for their first ever Master Biscuitier to take on the covetable mantle of top baker.

The exciting new role comes as the award-winning biscuit maker sets its sights on the next phase of growth and expansion.

The successful candidate will have the enviable task of launching enticing new biscuit from kitchen table to factory, and help lead the team in continuing to drive innovation, quality and sustainability throughout the business.

With a salary of up to £40,000 and the all-important role of taste-testing the baker’s biscuits every day, this truly is a biscuit-lover’s dream.

Paul Parkins, managing director of Border Biscuits, said: “This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about the UK’s food industry and of course, biscuits.

“We’re searching for a self-proclaimed foodie who knows their crumbles from their ginger crunch to join our passionate team.

“Our new Master Biscuiteer will lead the team in building on from the successful launch of our Dark Chocolate Ginger Bars. Their knowledge and expertise will be put to use in creating innovative, beautifully crafted biscuits that can be enjoyed by everyone.”
