STORY: Ole & Steen opens 16th bakery in London

Ole & Steen has opened it first new neighbourbood bakery of 2022, located on Old Brompton Road in south-west London and serving Earl's Court and West Kensington communities.

The latest launch marks the brand's 16th site in the capital, serving Danish treats and freshly baked bread.

The new 30-seater bakery opened its doors on 10 February, and is welcoming customers seven days a week from 7.30am until 9pm.

Fresh Danish bread is available, including three types of rye loaf; two different kinds of sourdough; and Skagen and Ølander loaves, which are baked fresh every morning.

In addition there are lunch and hot drinks menus, warming drinks and sweet treats including Festival Buns for the Danish season of Fastelavn, and the brand's famous Cinnamon Social Slice.

To introduce Ole & Steen to the area, the bakery gave its first 50 customers through the door on 10 February a chance to select an envelope at random.

Inside the envelopes will be a mixture of vouchers for a free hot drink or a free Cinnamon Social Slice, but one envelope contained a guld kort (Danish for ‘gold card’), the value of which was a voucher for Ole & Steen for a year.

In addition, from 3pm each day between 10 February and 13 February, Ole & Steen also gave away 500 slices of Cinnamon Social for customers with the Ole & Steen loyalty app.
