STORY: My Baker prepares for Eid celebrations

With Ramadan underway, My Baker's network of more than 200 bakers have set their sights on preparing for Eid celebrations taking place 2-3 May 2022.

From decorating the house to celebrating as a family, food plays a central and important role in the festival.

One in six of My Baker's network is Muslim, so the organisation has developed a range of halal cakes for the occasion.

Removing any animal gelatin, alcohol, shellac and carmine the My Baker team is also regularly consulting directly with its Muslim community to develop cakes and bakes to appeal to all.

Their range offers unique designs that can be delivered in 48 hours, 24 hours if ordered within the M25, and all of which can be made Halal.

The Eid Crescent Moon Cake comes in chocolate, vanilla or Victoria sponge flavours and is topped with buttercream, fruit, macarons and a fondant Ramadan or Eid decoration.

The 'showstopper' of the range is the Eid Celebration Cake, a tall cake with four generous layers of sponge in any of its signature flavours, which is then generously covered with green vanilla buttercream, and topped off with buttercream swirls and gold pearls.

My Baker also has a selection of intricately decorated tasty biscuits.

Prices start from £24.
