STORY: Dawn Foods appoints its 2023 Student Ambassadors

As part of an ongoing partnership with University College Birmingham to support young people entering the bakery industry, Dawn Foods has appointed two new Student Ambassadors for 2023.

The new Dawn Student Ambassadors are Kitty Glencross (pictured right), a final year student on University College Birmingham’s Bakery and Patisserie Technology degree, and Stephanie Horsley (pictured left), also in her final year on the same course.

Kitty and Stephanie will be working with Dawn’s application chef Robin Loud to create new recipes using Dawn’s products, as well as blogs and insights to be featured on the company’s website, trade press and social media platforms.

“Every year we are delighted with the standard of students who apply to become Dawn Foods’ Student Ambassadors," says Jacqui Passmore, marketing manager for UK and Ireland at Dawn Foods.

"The students are not only skilled at practical bakery but also have their fingers on the pulse about what is going on in the wider bakery and culinary world – from formats to flavour combinations, and social media influencers to celebrity bakers.

“Dawn’s partnership with University College Birmingham is a great way to support the up-and-coming talent starting out in the bakery industry.
