As the festive season fast approaches, BBF Limited has committed to helping feed the homeless this Christmas.

For more than ten years, the leading ambient cake and dessert manufacturer, has been supporting Crisis, the national homeless charity, through regular product donations.

This Christmas, BBF will be donating 10,000 products, including 4,500 mince pies and 1,600 portions of Christmas cake for guests of Crisis shelters to enjoy over the festive period.

Jonathan Lill, CEO of BBF limited, commented: “As a business, we’ve been supporting Crisis for over a decade and we know that Christmas can be a challenging time for many. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that this Christmas will be any different, so we hope that our donation of festive favourites can help those most in need.”

The festive favourites will be available at Crisis day shelters from 24th - 28th December.

“As the cost-of-living soars, thousands of people are at risk of being forced on to the cold streets, into sofa surfing or temporary accommodation, as they struggle to make ends meet. The donation of baked goods from BBF Limited is a vital component to the catering we provide our guests over the Christmas period and we hope that it helps lift spirits this Christmas,” added Richard Davies, manager of Crisis’ Christmas warehouse.

The Christmas donation to Crisis is just one of the many ways BBF Limited gives back to communities both locally and nationally throughout the year. From working with local charities in Yorkshire and Lancashire, to donating surplus product to food banks across the UK through FareShare and Company Shop, BBF works with a number of charities to help support people nationwide.
