With the weather finally warming up, GAIL’s Bakery has recognised the rise in popularity of the humble sandwich and has added a new range dedicated to sandwiches from summer tomatoes to harissa and tuna. 

Sandwiches are having a resurgence in the UK, with festivals dedicated to the humble lunch option chosen by thousands. The sandwich range has been perfectly curated by the GAIL’s team to provide customers with seasonal and fresh ingredients served in freshly baked bread. The range are designed to be taken outside and enjoyed with friends and would be suited to any summer picnic round ups you may have in the pipeline. The range will be available from 10th July.

Summer Tomato Sandwich

Cuore Del Vesuvio tomatoes from Natoora are layered with fresh herbs and Haverstock White, a marinated, plant-based soft ‘cheese’. All sandwiched in GAIL’s new rolls

Pastrami Roll
Kiln-smoked pastrami from Chapel & Sawn, mustard mayonnaise and Eaten Alive’s ‘Bread & Butter’ style pickled Cucumbers, piled into the new rolls

Harissa & Tuna Sandwich
Tuna and potato with harissa, Kalamata olives, capers, preserved lemon, and parsley. Topped with fresh rocket and sandwiched in Sesame Ciabatta
