Fitbakes, the brand renowned for its low sugar indulgent cakes, has announced exciting new retail listings, as the company experiences a major shift in consumer demand and product offerings.

Launched by qualified nutritionist Ella Rauen-Prestes, Fitbakes’ Wholegrain Wraps officially contain the lowest level of carbohydrates on the market are now available in Ocado from October, her keto bread is listed in Holland and Barrett and her highly rated Chocolate Crunch bars launched in Morrisons in September.
This transition reflects changing consumer preferences, as founder Ella notes, "People eat bread everyday, in some cases twice a day. It’s the highest rate of sale aisle in any supermarket. It’s time an actual healthy option is offered to consumers. "
Fitbakes has seen unprecedented growth over the past 12 months, with 100% year-on-year growth in the last 5 years, demonstrating the rising demand for low sugar, low carb, high-protein products. The brand’s products have also achieved stellar performance on Amazon, earning both Amazon’s Best Seller and Amazon’s Choice status.
The new listings mark a continued expansion for Fitbakes as it establishes itself as a leader in the health-conscious bread and wrap market, responding to the growing desire for nutritious, low-carb alternatives.
Fitbakes was founded by Ella on her kitchen table in the Cotswolds in 2018. She said: “We’re so excited to be making these two incredible bread products more widely available to people. Both of them are diabetic-friendly, ensuring stable blood sugar levels while also delivering on flavour. Not only are they packed with protein, they also have a high fibre content which promotes digestive gut health and helps you feel full for longer.”
