Scottish Bakers, the voice of the baking industry, has raised a record breaking £11,100 for Children’s Hospices Across S2024.
Thecotland (CHAS) at the annual Scottish Bakers Presidential Dance, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, in October funds raised will directly support Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)*, a charity dedicated to helping families across Scotland facing the heartbreak of a child with a life-shortening condition.
The annual Presidential Dance is the highlight of the Scottish Bakers' social calendar, bringing together more than 230 members of the baking community. This year’s event celebrated the industry’s achievements while making a significant impact on the lives of those CHAS supports. The evening was made possible through the generous sponsorship of BAKO Group, Carr’s Flour, and Direct Energy.
Michelle Phillips, President of Scottish Bakers, shared her gratitude:

Sarah Dannfald, Community Fundraiser for CHAS, added:
"The support from Scottish Bakers means so much to CHAS and the families we help. This incredible contribution will ensure we can continue to provide vital care and create lasting memories for families during the most challenging of times. Thank you to everyone involved for making this possible."
