A new, compelling and forward-looking event, conceived by the baking industry, for the baking industry. Taking place at the iconic Queens Hotel, Leeds, registration is now open.

In what promises to be an eagerly awaited milestone conference in the history of the baking industry, The Baking Forum will bring together over 200 delegates for the first time, to discuss the industry’s future challenges and share potential solutions.

Proudly supporting the Bakers Benevolent Society Fund, the inaugural one-day event, will see industry leaders and sector specialists, share their knowledge and vision for the future of the baking industry. Open to all baking industry professionals, key service providers and ingredients suppliers, the event is endorsed by the Federation of Bakers and the Association of Bakery Ingredient Manufactures (ABIM). It also enjoys the support of key industry figures, including AB Mauri, Frank Roberts, Zeelandia and Fine Lady Bakeries.

The Baking Forum will be hosted by Roger Harrabin, one of the media’s most influential voices on the environment, energy and climate change. As Energy and Environment Analyst he reported for the BBC for over 30 years.

Delegates will enjoy a full one day conference with compelling presentations from industry leaders and sector specialists. Full details of all speakers at The Baking Forum will be announced shortly and hot topics for the day will encompass: market insights; future trends, opportunities and challenges; driving sustainability; reaching net zero; and how government can support the food industry. In addition, delegates will have the chance to put their questions to a panel of industry experts. There will of course be the opportunity to meet with exhibitors throughout the day and the prospect of networking with colleagues and peers will be ever present. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. In conclusion, an evening Gala dinner with a nod to the ‘twenties’, will offer the opportunity for all delegates to continue conversations with colleagues and new found contacts, whilst enjoying a superb meal in an iconic setting.

Industry members can also make their voice heard by exhibiting on the day and sponsoring elements of The Baking Forum with Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorship packages available during the day and dinner table sponsorship during the evening.
